Psychiatric care in Russian, online anywhere in Florida.
Secure video visits with a native Russian-speaking psychiatric nurse practitioner. Russian-speaking psychiatric care for adults covers evaluations and medication management, in Russian or English, whichever feels right.
Some things are easier to say in Russian.
Describing anxiety, low mood, or a month of bad sleep is hard enough. In a second language, you end up hunting for words, softening details, or leaving things out. In your native language, you can say exactly what you feel and be understood the first time, with no interpreter on the call and nothing lost in translation.
Say it precisely
Nuance matters in psychiatry. “Тревожно” and “неспокойно,” tired and empty: these are different things, and the difference can change a treatment plan.
Understood in context
You won’t have to explain where you come from, how your family talks about mental health, or why asking for help can feel uncomfortable. That understanding is already in the room.
Private by design
Your visits are confidential and protected by federal privacy law (HIPAA). Nothing is shared with family, friends, your employer, or your community without your written permission, except in the narrow cases the law requires, such as an emergency where someone’s safety is at risk.
What we help with.
Not sure where your symptoms fit? You don’t need a diagnosis to book. Sorting that out is what the first visit is for.
Adults 18 and older come to us for:
Anxiety and constant worry
Depression and low mood
ADHD
Insomnia and sleep problems
Panic attacks
Bipolar disorder
PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
Stress from adjustments and life transitions, like a move, a new country, a loss, or a divorce
Your first visit: the full picture, then a plan.
Your initial psychiatric evaluation is a 60-minute conversation, with time to understand what’s going on before any decisions are made.

Nick J. Dolin, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Nick is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University. Russian is his first language, so your appointment can be fully in Russian, fully in English, or a mix of both, whatever feels most natural.
His focus is psychiatric evaluation and medication management: finding the right medication and dose, paying close attention to how you respond, and adjusting together over time.
Many patients find us while searching for a “Russian-speaking psychiatrist in Florida.” As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Nick provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management, in Russian, by telehealth, anywhere in the state.
Insurance and self-pay.
Mode Psychiatry is in network with Aetna, Cigna, Oscar, and UnitedHealthcare through Headway. Self-pay is also available if you prefer not to use insurance. We’ll verify your coverage before your first visit, so you know what to expect before you’re seen.
Questions from Russian-speaking patients.
-
Yes. Your entire visit can be in Russian, from the first question to the treatment plan. If you’re more comfortable in English, or like to switch between the two, that works too.
-
Of course. Adult children often help a parent schedule a first visit, and that’s welcome. The appointment itself is between you and your provider, and we only discuss your care with family if you give written permission. If any of the English-language forms are unclear, we can go over them together in Russian.
-
Yes. Visits are by secure video, so you can be seen from anywhere in the state, whether that’s Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, or a small town in between. The one requirement is that you’re physically in Florida during each visit.
-
We’re in network with Aetna, Cigna, Oscar, and UnitedHealthcare through Headway, and self-pay is available. Your copay and deductible depend on your plan. We’ll verify your coverage before your first visit.
-
Often within a few days. Open times appear when you book, so you can choose one that fits your schedule.
-
Your care is confidential and protected by HIPAA. We don’t contact your family, employer, or community, and we don’t share information without your written permission, except in the rare situations the law requires, such as an emergency involving someone’s safety. Visits take place on a secure, encrypted platform, and you join from wherever you have privacy.
-
It’s a 60-minute video visit. We’ll talk through your symptoms, history, past medications, sleep, daily life, and what you’d like to change. You’ll leave with an initial plan, which may include medication, next steps, and a follow-up date.
-
Usually not. If your insurance plan requires one, we’ll let you know when we verify your coverage.
